In Second step you will learn Module 1 till 5 as well as the  Architectures of off-grid and grid tie photovoltaic installations.

Theoretical part:

• you will learn the principles of photovoltaic power generation.
• You will learn about peak-power, one of the main characteristics of photovoltaic panels.
• This module will also go through the importance of photovoltaic panel positioning and the effects of shadows.
• You will become familiar with the major components of a photovoltaic installation, namely: solar panels, batteries, charge controllers and inverters.
• These components have specific characteristics, and their compatibility has to be checked and validated.

Practical parts:  you will learn a practical case of system sizing

• You will learn to be able to size a photovoltaic installation and battery capacity given the specifications of a school’s energy needs in a country of your choice.
• The method of sizing is a “hand-made” calculation
• By assessing the energy needs of a building and collecting information about the electrical devices in use
• you will learn how to calculate the energy consumption.
• Energy consumption and irradiation values will allow you to size the photovoltaic installation in terms of both size and configuration (number of panels in series and parallel).
• The battery sizing will consist of determining the capacity required and the configuration of the batteries to answer the need of the desired autonomy.
• At the end of this module, you will know which solution best suits the needs of the client and the steps that you need to follow when responding to a client demand.

In  the Third Step  you will learn  well as the financial, sales and marketing skills and  aspects in relations with PV Business.
