Founded in 2011, in recent years the company has invested in innovation, quality and cost-saving solutions for a diverse range of projects – including single-family homes, multi-storey apartment blocks, hotels, hospitals, industrial facilities and other commercial projects. Since its inception, MT-GE has continued to grow and establish a strong network of distributors who help serve customers around the world.
We are present in both the domestic and major construction markets, via reseller partners and our own sales network.
As part of our expansion, we are looking for four (4) Sales Technicians – Private Clients in the Africa region (East, Central, West and North).
Your exciting field of activity :
- Listening to the needs of your contacts, analysing the market and the competitors; you will define the specifications, generate the offers and monitor them until the order is placed and received. Presenting offers, products and services to customers.
- Price Tracking – create and update the price list for proper tracking. optimise Budget Offer.
- You don’t just sell – you offer solutions, provide answers and exceed expectations. Your aim is to understand your customers’ individual needs, to advise them competently using your professional expertise and to find perfect solutions to their complex technical challenges. You turn customers into partners!
- With a commercial/technical background, you will ideally have some initial successful experience of working with private customers or specifiers in our business sector.
- We guarantee you autonomy in the sector as well as strong support from management to help you develop your customer base.
- Acting with confidence : Acquiring new customers and looking after existing ones.
- Create lasting enthusiasm : present our ‘electromechanical components’ product portfolio and our services to your customers on site, in your distribution area.
- Professional brilliance : giving your customers expert advice on design-in
- Preparing and following up your customer meetings, accompanying projects through to contract conclusion and beyond, following up after-sales service and handling complaints.
- Extension of the product portfolio and price lists, ongoing updating of the portfolio and price lists
Participate in the creation of a sales network in its region of responsibility and in the selection of reseller partners.

convincing skills :
- Basics : completed studies in engineering / electrical engineering or in a technical or commercial discipline or training as a qualified technician (m/f) in electrical engineering or management, or Electrician (CAP) with several years of experience.
- Passion : enthusiasm for sales, empathy and entrepreneurial spirit
- Availability : happy to travel and advise on customer premises (approx. 3 days a week).
- Communication : Proficiency in German and English, possibly other languages, but not compulsory.
- Strengths : Excellent communication skills, strong argumentation, self-motivation and organization, structured working method.
