Solutions

When the grid is available, power produced by your solar system or Utility Power Grid is used by the home and excess energy is save into a HS Hybride storage systems with integrated lithium (LiFePO4) and extendables Lead acid battery.
In the event of a power outage the HS Hybride will automatically turn on to power critical appliances such as the fridge/freezer, lights, well pump, computer, phone and more. The combination of solar energy / power utility Grid and HS Solution works seamlessly to provide power to essential appliances during an outage, working similar to an off-grid system. A Lithium extension (LE 300) or Lead acid Battery could be incorporated or combined to allow an extra degree of independence to protect against long-term power outages.

THE HYBRID BATTERY HS 500/2500/5000/10000 is the heart of the system and includes the essential battery-based inverter, capable of providing power from batteries during an outage.

The hybrid system contains a combined, fully featured charge controller for lithium and lead acid batteries that manages the state of charge of both batteries in an intelligent way.

During the day the lead acid battery is charged with higher priority, resulting in long hours at full state of charge. Surplus energy is stored in the lithium battery, which is used for small cycles and operated in its perfect operation mode by taking advantage of its DOD >90% and its high cycle life. The lead acid battery is only used to power loads once the lithium battery is flat, offering additional power and high backup capacities, whilst staying in a high state of charge at most times.

SMART LOAD MANAGEMENT
An excess energy output is only switched on, if excess power is available. This helps to run fans, chargers or other high power devices only if there is enough energy. It automatically keeps enough energy for devices that need to be available 24/7. All hybrid systems come with an integrated USB port.

LEAD ACID BATTERY
This Hybride systems work with AGM, gel and standard lead acid batteries. Already existing batteries can be used as well. The state of charge of the lead acid battery is controlled in an intelligent way and includes all relevant protection and performance features.

EASY TO INSTALL
Lithium battery and hybrid charge controller are one unit. A lead acid battery, the solar generator and different loads are simply connected to the HS systems using standard wire connectors. There is no need to configure any lithium battery parameters by the customer.

LE300 – Lithium Extension Battery. 
LE 300 Battery can be combined with THE HYBRID BATTERY (HS 50 / 100 ) for an high degree of autonomous and a longer power back up time to protect Residential users against a very long-term of power outages.
The lead acid battery is charged with higher priority,the lithium battery takes all surplus energy. This helps to increase the lead acid battery life.

The system recognizes the lead acid battery voltage and automatically starts to support the lead acid battery with a maximum current of 12.5A per unit. Bigger loads get supplied by the lead acid and the lithium battery in parallel, resulting in smaller currents for each battery.
